K12 Hunar is looking for a creative Motion Graphics & Video Editing Intern who can transform newsletter stories and educational content into short, engaging, and easy-to-understand videos. Every week, our newsletter features meaningful stories — you'll convert selected stories into animation-based or visually narrated videos so audiences who may not have time to read the complete article can still understand its central message. The role will also support K12 Hunar's YouTube channel and social media platforms through animated explainers, reels, promotional videos, educational stories, and awareness campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Convert weekly newsletter stories into short and engaging animated videos
- Understand written content and identify its main message, characters, emotions, and learning outcomes.
- Develop video concepts, storyboards, visual sequences, and scene plans
- Create motion graphics, text animations, character-based animations, explainer videos, and visual storytelling content
- Edit videos using suitable footage, illustrations, icons, animations, background music, voiceovers, captions, and transitions.
- Produce short-form videos for Instagram Reels, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and WhatsApp communities
- Produce longer videos for K12 Hunar's YouTube channel when required
- Add subtitles and captions to improve accessibility and viewer understanding
- Adapt videos into different platform-specific dimensions and formats
- Maintain consistency with K12 Hunar's brand identity, colour palette, and communication style.
- Coordinate with graphic design, social media, marketing, and newsletter teams
- Review and revise videos based on feedback.
- Maintain organized editable project files and meet agreed production timelines.
Requirements
- Students, recent graduates, or aspiring professionals in Animation, Video Editing, Motion Graphics, Film, Multimedia, Mass Communication, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Previous experience creating animated videos, explainers, reels, or social media content is preferred.
- A portfolio or samples of previous animation or video-editing work will be an advantage.
- Interest in education, social impact, storytelling, innovation, or student development.
