About this role
Recruit qualified mentors, review project ideas and coordinate practical 12-week curricula for Classes 6–12. You will work remotely with the K12 Hunar Mentor–Mentee Program team.
Responsibilities
- Expand and maintain the academic and industry mentor database.
- Screen mentor profiles and project submissions for quality and age suitability.
- Coordinate qualification checks and safeguarding onboarding.
- Co-develop 12-week project plans, milestones and assessment criteria with mentors.
- Manage availability and teaching-quality follow-ups for Project and Session Mentors.
- Submit weekly mentor pipeline and curriculum readiness reports to the Project Manager.
Requirements
- Strong academic communication and research skills.
- Background in education, science, engineering or a related field.
- Curriculum development or mentoring experience preferred.
